INGREDIENTS
Each serving: for the bed of mixed greens-
1 cup mixed salad greens
2 tsps balsamic vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
dash of salt & pepper
6 tsps olive oil
for the tuna steak-
1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
1 tsp butter
1" tuna steak
1 lemon wedge for garnish
METHOD
Whisk together balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Gradually whisk in olive
oil until all ingredients are combined. Toss the vinaigrette and salad greens together and
place on serving plate. Melt the butter in a sauté pan. Season tuna steak with Old Bay.
Sear tuna on each side-one minute per side for rare; one minute, thirty seconds for medium
rare; and two minutes for medium. Place cooked tuna atop salad greens, and garnish with
lemon wedge.
